Ruin House

A small, partially collapsed stone house ruin sitting on the surface. Its walls are crumbling and weathered, blending naturally into the surrounding landscape as if long abandoned.

Features

  • 3 equally weighted layout variants (ruin_house1, ruin_house2, ruin_house3) — one is chosen at random each time.

  • Stone blocks are procedurally aged on generation: replaced randomly with stone bricks (most common), cobblestone, cracked stone bricks, and mossy stone bricks — giving each spawn a unique, worn appearance.

  • Blends into the terrain at the base (thin beard adaptation trims terrain around the structure's edges).

  • Waterlogging is ignored, so the ruin can generate near water without flooding.

  • No spawners or NPCs.

Generation

  • Biomes: Plains and Forest only — explicitly excludes mountains, ocean, and river biomes.

  • Height: Anchored to the world surface (Y=0 projection onto surface heightmap).

  • Spacing: Target of 45 chunks between ruins, minimum separation of 20 chunks.
